Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Amending the Production Safety Law of the People's Republic of China

(Adopted at the 10th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People's Congress on August 31, 2014) The 10th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People's Congress decided to amend the Production Safety Law of the People's Republic of China as follows: I Article 3 is revised to read: "Work safety should be people-oriented, adhere to safe development, adhere to the principle of safety first, prevention first, and comprehensive governance, strengthen and implement the main responsibility of production and business units, and establish a mechanism for production and business units to be responsible, employees to participate, government supervision, industry self-discipline, and social supervision." 2、 Revise Article 4
